Acceptable Wastes

The facility is designed to accept source segregated green garden waste. It diverts organic waste from landfill and produces a valuable organic compost fertiliser. Wastes that can be treated in the facility include a very wide spectrum of green wastes including plant cuttings, weeds, grass cuttings, hedge prunings, cut flowers and branches no larger than 7.5cm in diameter. We are unable to accept Japanese knotweed or treated wood.

Description

Agrivert’s first composting site, Showell Farm was constructed in 2004. It now services Oxfordshire County Council, West Oxfordshire District council, and commercial customers.
