Last Thursday, an assortment of eager individuals arrived at Whatley Manor Hotel for the HoSt Group - Bioenergy Systems open day. The day comprised of an exclusive Charlton Park anaerobic digestion (AD) facility site tour, lunch, knowledge sharing and networking. Following an insightful site tour and after a delicious lunch, there were engaging presentations by Agrivert, HoSt Group, Bright Renewables, and Raw Energy. The open day was a great success bringing together industry leaders and potential opportunities for further project discussions.
The Charlton Park AD site incorporates collaboration of SWEN Capital Partners, HoSt Group, RAW Energy and Agrivert as the operating partner. The site was developed by RAW Energy and built by HoSt Group and is currently managed by RAW Energy, while maintained and operated by Agrivert. Charlton Park is a 50,000 tonnes per annum facility, processing food and agricultural wastes alongside some farm crops to supply gas to five thousand homes.
