Chief Executive Officer
Alexander founded Agrivert in 1994 and is responsible for the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive, which banned the disposal of sewage sludge at sea. Alexander has vast experience in organic waste recycling and recovery via renewable energy. He is Chair of the Renewable Energy Association Policy Board and a UK Board Member for the European Federation for Agricultural Recycling.
Chief Commercial Officer
Harry oversees Agrivert's development and commercial strategy and identifies and develops partnership opportunities whilst managing the commercial and marketing team. Harry has been with Agrivert since 2005. He has extensive experience in diverse sectors holding directorships and senior leadership roles in various organisations, including DHL, Nationwide Access, Farringdon Property, Norton Securities, and currently Agrivert, Brompton 35 and AJA Joint Venture.
Chief Financial Officer
Phil has been with Agrivert since 2015 and leads the Financial and Governance aspects of Agrivert whilst having significant involvement in developing Agrivert's strategy and commercial partnerships in the UK and overseas. Phil is a Board Director of Agrivert and sits on the Management Boards of Agrivert’s Joint Ventures, chairing the AJA Board. He has held CFO roles for over 15 years in various businesses and led Agrivert's refinancing in 2015, sale to Severn Trent Green Power in 2018 and fundraising to support the Hong Kong project in 2020. Prior to working as a CFO, Phil spent seven years after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG advising SMEs on corporate transactions and assurance.
Chief Engineering Officer
James leads Agrivert's engineering and project delivery for Agrivert whilst having a significant involvement in Agrivert's strategy, technical and execution partnership development. He has over 25 years of experience in the process industry working for design-build operators, holding Directors and in leadership positions. In addition, James has extensive experience in leading, managing and developing international teams and strategies, enabling developments and projects and services for a wide range of customers and markets.
Mark is an experienced director and Chartered Mechanical Engineer with over 27 years of relevant experience delivering advanced technology projects. Mark manages Agrivert’s team of multi-discipline engineers and is the Design Manager for the ORRC 2 anaerobic digestion plant currently under construction in Hong Kong. He has specialised in Waste to Energy infrastructure and also has significant experience in defence-related infrastructure and manufacturing facilities. Specific areas of technical expertise are anaerobic digestion (AD), energy from waste (EfW) and waste to fuels (WtF). He has delivered EfW, AD and WtF plants from the inception stage through each phase of development and procurement through to construction and operation.
Chris is an expert in technical aspects of AD and other organic processes. With a strong engineering and operational pedigree spanning over 20 years, Chris takes a pivotal role in designing technical solutions for our clients. Previously, Chris was a Plant Engineer, Plant Manager and Commissioning and Continuous Improvement Manager.
Deputy Commercial Director
As Deputy Commercial Director, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the commercial, tendering and sales teams to deliver quality infrastructure and robust treatment services solutions to its domestic and international customers. Previously, Andrew qualified as a Chartered Town Planner and spent 4 years working within the public sector. After joining Agrivert in 2011, Andrew was initially responsible for securing planning and permitting permissions for Agrivert’s assets, before being promoted to Commercial Manager in 2014, where he began overseeing Agrivert’s wider commercial functions.
O & M Portfolio Manager
Alexi oversees all Agrivert’s operations and maintenance contracts, managing Agrivert's team of plant managers and operators. She joined the Thames Water Graduate scheme in 2015 and worked in the wastewater business before moving to work at the Oxford Thermal Hydrolysis Anaerobic Digestion plant and finally into capital budgets across the Thames Valley Region before joining Agrivert.
