Alexander Maddan
Chairman
Alexander founded Agrivert in 1994 in response to the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive, which banned the disposal of sewage sludge at sea. Alexander has vast experience in organic waste recycling and recovery via renewable energy and spearheaded Agrivert’s entry into anaerobic digestion. He is Chair of the Renewable Energy Association Policy Board and a UK Board Member for the European Federation for Agricultural Recycling. Formally Chief Executive, his role in Agrivert is now focussed on senior relationship development and identification of new technologies.

Phil Earl
Chief Executive
Phil joined Agrivert in 2015 as Chief Financial Officer and became Chief Executive in 2023. Phil oversees the day-to-day running of the business whilst leading the development of Agrivert's strategy and its commercial partnerships in the UK and overseas. Phil sits on the Management Boards of Agrivert’s overseas Joint Ventures, chairing the AJA Board. He has held CFO roles for over 15 years in various businesses and led Agrivert's refinancing in 2015, sale to Severn Trent Green Power in 2018 and fundraising to support the Hong Kong project in 2020. Prior to working as a CFO, Phil spent seven years after qualifying as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG advising SMEs on corporate transactions and assurance.

Harry Waters
Chief Commercial Officer
Harry oversees Agrivert's development and commercial strategy and identifies and develops partnership opportunities whilst managing the commercial and marketing team. Harry has been with Agrivert since 2005. He has extensive experience in diverse sectors holding directorships and senior leadership roles in various organisations, including DHL, Nationwide Access, Farringdon Property, Norton Securities, and currently Agrivert, Brompton 35 and AJA Joint Venture.
James Andrew
Chief Engineer
James leads Agrivert's engineering and project delivery whilst having a significant involvement in Agrivert's strategy, technical and execution partnership development. He has over 25 years of experience in the process industry working for design-build-operators, holding Director and in leadership positions. In addition, James has extensive experience in leading, managing and developing international teams and strategies, enabling developments and projects and services for a wide range of customers and markets.

Alexi Dragonetti
O & M Portfolio Manager
Alexi oversees all Agrivert’s operations and maintenance contracts, managing Agrivert's team of plant managers and operators. She joined the Thames Water Graduate scheme in 2015 and worked in the wastewater business before moving to work at the Oxford Thermal Hydrolysis Anaerobic Digestion plant and finally into capital budgets across the Thames Valley Region before joining Agrivert.

Chris Woolcock
Technical Director
Chris is an expert in technical aspects of AD and other organic processes. With a strong engineering and operational pedigree spanning over 20 years, Chris takes a pivotal role in designing technical solutions for our clients. Previously, Chris was a Plant Engineer, Plant Manager and Commissioning and Continuous Improvement Manager.
